Hew: The Dystopia is a city mentioned in Sonny and also the fifth zone in Sonny 2. The Mayor is the boss of this zone.
Hew is the domain of the all powerful Mayor. He is said to have had an almost dictatorial rise to power and refuses to give up power until the day he dies. He is known to be tremendously unpopular with the people due to his use of a secret police force as well as violently cracking down on threats to his power.
Involvement[]
Sonny[]
Within Sonny, an old sign in Ishiguro's Rest points towards Hew within 80 kilometres. This causes Sonny to question what is Hew before following the sign.

Sonny 2[]
The mayor's actions have caused the rise of a resistance to his rule in the city. The riots are started by the Tunnel Workers, and Sonny's party quickly joins in. It is here where Sonny and his group meet up with Felicity who joins the party and the three fulfill the wishes of the people by overthrowing the mayor after tearing through his guards.
Hew is also an important source of funding for the ZPCI, as their management notes at the ending of the game. The ZPCI charge exorbitant taxes to the citizens for their protection services. This is also a reason for the riots.

The ZPCI appointed Boris Livingstone as the Mayor of Hew.

The shop sells equipment from the town's police forces such as the Riot Gloves and gear from the Secret Police, as well as the primary weapon of the Councillors. The level requirement is 21-22.
