Oberursel: The Frozen Village is the second Zone in Sonny 2.

After Felicity's car stops working, Sonny and Veradux walks from Oberursel in search of Utopia. During their journey, they encounter and battle Roald's party, who proposes to cease fire once they realized that they were zombies with conscious minds. They reveal that scientists working on a cure for zombification were killed and kidnapped by an unknown party.

Sonny decides to team up with Roald to fight the fanatic Cult nearby that despises zombies and kills innocent people. They fight through hordes of frost zombies, as well as the Cultists. They eventually confront the cult leader, who is revealed to be Sonny's nemesis from the past, Baron Brixus. The Baron is himself a powerful zombie overlord and started the "anti-zombie" cult for fun.

The cult breaks apart when the disillusioned cultists witness that their leader is himself a zombie. However, Sonny's party encounters a squad of ZPCI soldiers that have been sent to kill them. After a confrontation with Captain Hunt and his elite team, Roald leads Sonny and Veradux to an underground route to escape the ZPCI.

• The Car: "The car that Felicity tried to use to escape. Veradux shot it with an Electro-Bolt to shut off the engine and stop her from getting away, but is looks like the battery was permanently damaged. In the car there was a tape player. I still can't believe it... How is that song going to help me with anything? Maybe Louis gave me the wrong tape. Better keep it anyway, just in case. Felicity seemed to think it was important."
• The Well: "It's not working anymore, the water is frozen. Luckily, I have other ways to maintain my hydration levels. But the blood here.. It seems familiar."
• Insurgent Hideout: "What are you doing here? Leave this place, there is nothing for you here. This village is crawling with zombies and madmen. We're trying to keep a low profile, please go away before you draw any unwanted attention."
• The Cathedral: "There is a structure fare in the distance. It's not in walking distance from here, but there is a terrace nearby that is within reach."
• The Moon: "Tonight is seems so large and so red. Something is amiss with the sky. It seems as if the night is lasting forever."
