Tactics[]
Due to the AI within Sonny being known for questionable decisions within combat, Blood Focus offers a niche that can be afforded for the Destroyer and Guardian classes; sacrificing some of their health for instant Focus. The Destroyer class will always be capped at 100 Focus (Due to any other gear that increases Focus being either too costly for their health and damage output or being class locked) meaning that even at level 1, they would recover 40% of their maximum Focus. Meanwhile, Guardians would have a higher Focus cap with their best gear (150 Focus), but they could consider investing into this ability if they are playing more offensively.
Its main competitor, however, is Regeneration which is considered to be the safer option due to it not requiring anything to use. However, Regeneration is overtime, while Blood Focus is instant, which might be needed over something overtime, especially due to Veradux's Re-Energize, the main way Sonny can recover Focus, has a 20 turn cooldown and can be dispelled.
Gunslingers and Assassins might not be able to safely invest within Blood Strike, however, due to their poor Vitality stat.
